Tampere dances – Razzmatazz's Tampere production celebrates the city's birthday

What does Tampere look, sound and feel like through dance? Come enjoy Dance Studio Razzmatazz's Tampere dance production and celebrate Tampere Day on Sunday 4 October 2026 at 1 and 2 p.m. at the Ratina shopping center's event square!

Razzmatazz brings energy, movement and the unique spirit of our city to the stage. Tampere production tells the story of the history of our beloved hometown. The production is filled with familiar Tampere imagery, ranging from the rushing waters of the Tammerkoski rapids to factory smokestacks, and from hockey games to the sounds of Manserock. The production, which features dance enthusiasts ranging in age from 7 to 70, is the winner of the 2026 Production Cup and was choreographed by Heidi Hautasuo and Enja Mörsky.

Tampere production features a total of 81 dancers, ranging in age from 7 to 70. There are children, young people, mothers and grandmothers, some of the dancers are professionals and some are active enthusiasts. The dance group won gold at the Finnish Dance Organization's Production Cup competition with this production.

The joy of dance, strong atmospheres and a touch of Tampere attitude and pure love for the region are promised - experiences that will make the city feel even more like your own.

The event is free and open to everyone.
