How to include my programme?
Tampere’s birthday will be celebrated from 1 to 4 October 2026 with a variety of events across the city. This year, Tampere is celebrating its 247th anniversary.
Let’s organise celebrations together that will fill the city centre with people, joy and urban culture. Plan a memorable experience for the Tampere Day weekend that will delight the whole city. You could, for example, open the doors of your business or organisation, delight visitors with performances or guided tours, or offer taster sessions for different activities. The style is up to you – the most important thing is that you join in the festivities!
Instructions for adding a programme
- Log in to the Tampere events calendar at tapahtumat.tampere.fi/en and create a free user account.
- Create a profile for the event organiser. If you know that your organisation already has a profile, ask the profile administrator to add you as an administrator.
- Select ‘Add’ and ‘Create event’ in the top right-hand corner.
- Enter your event details
- Enter #TampereenPäivä as the event tag. Note: If you do not select this, the event will not be saved under the Tampere Day programme.
- Publish your event.
If the event you have submitted does not appear in the calendar, please contact the website administrator.
