Tampere Day guided tours at the Old City Hall 4 October

In honor of Tampere's 247th anniversary, the city is offering residents free tours of the historic Old City Hall on Saturday, 3 October, and Sunday, 4 October 2026.

The tours will introduce visitors to the history of the Neo-Renaissance building, completed in 1890, and its many stories. The tours will be led by authorized guides from Tampere Tourist Guides Association. The tours will be held in Finnish, but you can ask the guides questions in English during the tour. 

You can register for the tours via the links below. Each tour has a capacity of 25 people, and places will be filled in the order of registration.

Registration opens on 15 September at 12 noon.

If your group includes more than one participant, please fill out a separate registration form for each person.

When registering, please indicate if you require barrier-free access to the Old City Hall.
