Open House at the City Hall

Tampere City Hall will open its doors on Saturday 3 October from 10-15. Come and explore the premises on the first floor of the building, admire the art in the Council Hall and enjoy a diverse programme for the whole family.

During the day, you can meet Moomin characters, listen to music, enjoy a pancake buffet and emerge into virtual reality with VR glasses. The Visit Tampere tourism event will also give you the opportunity to hear about current tourism topics and follow a panel on tourism.

There will also be a greeting from the mayor, musical performances and fun activities for all ages. The event is free and open to everyone.

Open for exploration are the 1st floor premises and the Council Hall where you can enjoy the art.

1st floor windows

The Favourite Place photo exhibition takes viewers to places that hold special meaning for the residents of Multisilta and Peltolammi. The exhibition is part of the neighborhood’s community art initiative.

Price 10 € / person. Children under 3 years old free of charge.
