An experimental and bold eco-philosophical and theological discussion, in which we try together to understand a different kind of language and relationship to the rest of nature.
To what extent is the root cause of the ecological crisis the idea of humans being above the rest of nature and seeing the rest of nature merely as an object? How has the church been part of this problem, and how could it in the future also be part of the solution?
We will have an experimental and bold eco-philosophical and theological discussion, where we try together to envision a different language and relationship with the rest of nature. Author Anna Kontula's talk on ecological transformation and eco-theology based on her new book. Kontula challenges herself and others to think differently. Based on this talk: Creation as a partner and subject – discussion. Author Juha Hurme, eco-theologian Pauliina Kainulainen, evolutionary biologist and University of Oxford researcher Aura Raulo.
