UKRAINIAN AND FINNISH MUSIC

Ukrainian singer Oleksandra Loktionova-Oitsius and pianist Ville Hautakangas will bring a concert to the stage where voice and piano meet delicately and powerfully.

The concert program will take you through the landscapes of Ukrainian and European vocal music. The music combines lyricism, melancholy, passion and hope – emotions that transcend language and cultural boundaries.

Oleksandra Loktionova-Oitsius' expressive voice and Ville Hautakangas' nuanced pianism form a duo where the text of the song and the feeling of the music come to the forefront. The concert offers an opportunity to stop by the music and hear both familiar and perhaps less frequently heard vocal music.
